Liquid Corn Gluten is a new active ingredient contained in a pesticide product that is proposed for classification in Ontario.
Under the federal Pest Control Products Act, all pesticides destined for use in Canada must undergo a federal registration review including efficacy and human and environmental concerns.
In Ontario, the Pesticides Act stipulates that all federally registered pesticides must be further classified in Ontario before it becomes legal for sale and use.
