The ministry involved reviews all written comments and considers all those relevant to the decision before posting a Decision Notice.

The decision notice states how many comments were received and how the ministry considered the comments. You can examine the decision to see if your comments were considered.

The Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO) reviews ministry decisions to see how public comments were taken into account. The findings of these reviews inform the ECO's annual report.
